Her technical skills are remarkable. Anytime I brought up an idea or challenge, Nellie would return not just with suggestions—but with the task already done. She takes initiative with enthusiasm. When our website needed more content, she proactively researched Whalefest, gathering interviews, media coverage, and photos to build a more compelling story. When we decided to highlight our vendors, she researched each one and drafted bios with contact details. For our Board and Committee Members page, she even located placeholder photos and bios online, giving us a head start.
 

Nellie also put in long hours—often working late into the night. For the two to three weeks she dedicated to this project, I woke up every morning to 7–10 detailed emails, each with a single subject line we used as a shared to-do list. Her organization and responsiveness were exceptional.
 

As I came to understand her full range of talents, I realized how capable she truly is. If I were still working full-time and needed an Executive Assistant, I’d hire her without hesitation—but truthfully, Nellie is capable of far more than that. She has the skills, mindset, and drive to run her own company. The sky is the limit for her."
